NBA Top Shot Weekly Updates (9/6–9/12)
Hello! Welcome to another episode of Top Shot weekly updates! Didn’t spend a lot of time on Top Shot this week, missed something or just wanna recap, I’m here for you. Another quiet week but few things to note as always, hoping for more exciting things to come. Let’s get to it!
Packs, Marketplace and Updates
No packs this week, even airdrops, unless you did the challenges, we’ll talk about it a bit later. I think it will change in the next week or two, we are due to WNBA rare “Run It Back” style pack!
Here’s the market cap from Evaluate.Market. Top Shot marketplace was pretty stable in prices.
And of course we have to go through floor prices as well!
One little, but important update happen this week, and this is a price warning update. Now when you price your moment way below the floor price, you get a special warning, which makes you double-double check, hopefully it prevents some from doing these mistakes that we had seen in the past.
Challenges
No NBA challenges, off-season. But…
We did have 2 WNBA challenges, first was the Skylar-Diggins Smith challenge, in which you had to collect 8 WNBA moments, with different play types. And we have a challenge happening right now, in which you can receive a pack with Jewell Loyd TS debut moment, you need to collect 5 moments featuring winners of the WNBA rookie of the year award, stacking is allowed.
Community
WNBA recently released a list of 25 best W players of all time! Featuring current and former players. Can’t help but think that it very well can be our roster of Top Shot WNBA rare set, make sense to me, especially how involved WNBA was in the first drop. This pack would be amazing!
But what about NBA Run It Back? We heard a lot of rumors and tidbits for a while now, but nothing official. Doesn’t mean we can’t get excited about it, and this article about the potential Run It Back season from Brandon Sowle got me even more excited, highly recommended!
Something that you might not know or just not done in the past, is depositing to Top Shot from crypto, if you have some ethereum or another cryptocurrency, check out this video from Packrip Ewing, it is as easy as depositing from your credit/debit card, make sure to check gas prices before you do it.
Dr. Seuss, is the next IP that Dapper Labs is building a project around. For quite some time we heard about it and knew that it was in the works, well now they have finally launched the private beta, you can sign up right here!

He talked as well in this video about the potential Top Shot roadmap, which I think he has a very good prediction about it!
